Through our merger with the Humane Rescue Alliance in Washington, D.C., we are the largest provider of animal services in our region, touching the lives of over 100,000 animals each year. We assist our communities with services including pet adoption, animal rescue, a dog training and behavior center, animal control services, and programs that help pets stay with their families. Greater Good Charities and The Animal Rescue Site are joining NBC and Telemundo stations’ Clear The Shelters pet adoption campaign to support shelters and rescues across the country by encouraging individuals to donate funds to help animal welfare groups with the most critical needs.
Each summer, shelters and rescues face an added stress on their resources from increases in puppy and kitten intakes due to spring litters. In 2021 shelters are reporting higher than normal intake rates, with unprecedented overpopulation in some areas. They need you now.
Every bit counts. Search for your local shelter or rescue below and make a direct donation to support them. The Animal Rescue Site is covering 100% of credit card transaction fees so 100% goes to help.
Beginning on Tuesday, August 31 at 12pm PT, Hill’s Pet Nutrition is again matching all donations dollar for dollar up to $25,000. All gifts will be doubled until the match runs out! Starting at noon PT on that day, a $25,000 total pool will be made available.
