A Chain Free Life for Dogs
Help provide a warm bed, fence, and insulated doghouse to a dog in need.
Fences For Fido eases the frustration and loneliness of dogs living outside on chains by building fences for low-income families at no cost to help a dog live a chain-free life. The fences also keep dogs from escaping and ending up in shelters or becoming injured.
Within a few short days of meeting Fences For Fido, the animals receive a custom-built, insulated doghouse and warm bed. For some, this is the first shelter and comfort they’ve known. Then the group assess whether the dogs need medical care and spaying or neutering. As quickly as possible, they build a fence and celebrate the un-chaining with volunteers, the Fidos, the family, and the community.

Fences For Fido, an all-volunteer 501c3 non-profit, attends to all needs by building a fence, removing the chain, supplying a warm dog house, providing critical vet care and spay/neuter, and returning yearly to ensure the dog lives a safe, un-chained life.
